Our story
Why DuraCoat exists
DuraCoat began in Cape Town in 2016 with two painters, one van, and a rule that hasn't changed since: never put paint on a surface that isn't ready for it. That rule cost us time on early jobs. It also meant none of them ever called us back to fix peeling paint — they called us back for the next house, then their office, then their warehouse.
10 years later, that's still how we grow. The painting teams added building trades because great finishes kept revealing problems underneath — cracked render, water damage, tired plaster — and our clients wanted one accountable partner to fix all of it. Today DuraCoat spans residential, commercial, and industrial work, but every project still gets the two-painters-and-a-van treatment: show up when promised, prep like it matters, and stand behind the result in writing.
